Afternoon tea

Afternoon tea … with a twist!

There is something magical about the combination of delicious food and music in a unique setting to awaken the senses!

Following 20 years in private music teaching, accompanying and performance, together with 10 years running a coffee shop on the farm, husband and wife team, Hugh and Alyson Reid, are keen to blend their skills, passion, and experience to offer unique visitor experiences in our beautiful stone barn in County Antrim.  ‘The Stables’ is a 19th century stone barn which was converted into a music studio in 1994.  Visitors can expect to savour luxurious home-made afternoon teas, whilst being inspired and uplifted through music, song, literature, and other creative initiatives, all of which combine to create truly immersive and memorable experiences.

Hugh makes his own ice cream on site as part of the Economusee network and we love to welcome groups to learn about the whole process from cow to cone with lots of opportunities for hands on participation and enjoying samples! At 'The Stables' we can offer parties the availability of evening events and private bookings with easy access for parking and disability allowance.

Please note our special ‘Afternoon Tea with a twist’ visitor experiences are held on Saturday afternoons once a month on specified dates. These will be publicised on our socials and updated here on our website.

Pre-booking essential - Call us on 07790674683 Tuesday to Saturday 9.30-4.30

We love all things creative!  Our goal is that visitors will come to our experiences and be delighted, inspired and motivated to try something new, as together we engage all the senses in harmony!

This is more than just tea - it is tea with a twist!
